  • Thoughts on Courtship
What exactly is the difference between dating and courtship? Ask 100 people and you’ll likely get 100 different answers.

Generally, we like to focus on where (however defined) the two concepts overlap on the concepts of honoring God, mutual respect, healthy boundaries, accountability, and integrity.

We’ll leave the precise definitions and application of specific principles to the reader. Also, remember that none of us (no matter what theory we subscribe to) does any of this stuff perfectly and, as such, we should always seek to treat each other (and ourselves) with much grace and mercy, when needed.
